Comprehensive Probate Handling Service

Comprehensive Probate Handling Service

At Blakes, we understand that navigating the intricacies of probate can be a challenging and emotionally charged process, so we are proud to offer our all-encompassing Probate Handling Service, designed to alleviate the burdens that come with selling an estate.

We offer a range of services to help you navigate the process, among them are:

  • Formal RICS-backed valuation, supported by market comparables, meeting the stringent requirements of HMRC. This crucial step ensures that the estate’s total value is accurately assessed, helping to determine any potential inheritance tax liabilities.
  • The appraisal and sale or removal of household contents in a sensitive manner
  • Conduct routine inspections of the property to meet the requirements of possible ‘empty house’ insurance policies.
  • The marketing and sale or the property, through our estate agent service.
  • If the estate includes rental properties, we handle tenant matters, rent collection, maintenance, and ensure proper accounting of rental income within the probate process.

We are well versed and experienced in UK property laws and regulations, ensuring full legal compliance during all transactions and property management activities. Let us help you navigate probate with ease.
